Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns.

Lingual braces act in the same way as regular braces, using brackets and wires to gently reposition the teeth. The main difference, however, is that they are placed on the back of the teeth, so they are not immediately obvious.

They are the latest and most modern techniques in Orthodontics in which braces are not at all used. It consists of removable plastic trays, each of which needs to be worn throughout the day (except for while eating or brushing) and needs to be changed with the subsequent ones as per the schedule specified.
